Uno de los errores que solemos cometer los hispanohablantes es pronunciar la /v/ como si fuera una/b/, pero en inglés son dos fonemas distintos.
La /v/ se articula igual que la /f/ con la diferencia de que al decir /v/ las cuerdas vocales vibran y al decir /f/ no vibran. En el video de abajo se muestra cómo pronunciar estos fonemas y ponen los siguientes ejemplos:
- face /feɪs/, fan /fæn/, fine /faɪn/, fat /fæt/, few /fju:/
- vase /veɪs/, van /væn/, vine /vaɪn/, vat /væt/, view /vju:/
